Tokyo’s one and only JSquared returns this year with a brilliant two-tracker after releasing several singles and mixes through world-renown music label Maison Kitsuné.

Japanese singer Mizuki Kamata paired up with the talented producer on the equally named first track Soul Searching to create a smoothly rolling spring anthem aimed to the ones currently struggling with being holed in.

Rounding up the picture is the second track called Flashback, a funky phenomenon that reminds us instantly of the legendary Australian artist Touch Sensitive.

The bouncy bass-line works well next to a pool or beach, so let’s all hope we are making it in time for the last days of Summer in order to play this 80’s retro-feel tune out on a real sound-system!
