Pure French Sexiness – Fonkynson’s Horny EP is exactly that!

French-born and Canada-based Fonkynson just created an impressive mark on the landscape of French-house, synthwave and nu-disco thanks to his brand-new release called “Horny”.
The six track-strong EP is being distributed through Montral-based Lisbon Lux Records and reminds one of legends such as Alan Braxe, Fred Falke and of course Daft Punk and can be seen as a resurrection of the French filter-era.

After releases in 2008 on Super HiFi and on Heavy Disco in 2013, Fonkynson, who has been inspired by diverse artists and genres in his life, kept it well-balanced on his latest output by delivering danceable as well as romantic joints to please the listener.
While the wild “Wired” gets you amped up for a night in the clubs in Paris, you have excellent and super-sexy “FRnSH” which is our secret star of the EP, as it keeps you glaring out towards the horizon for ours while listening to it.
The funky and housy “Monday Morning” gets your booty moving next to the pool for sure while both “Prophecy” and “Blue Sand” are perfect for a stroll next to the Seine or the beach. “Monday Morning” is also available as an instrumental to close out this fabulous release with another bang.

All in all, “Horny” should be seen as an essential for the upcoming summer and to be played in your stereo of your convertible while going 30 km/h in the city or the Riviera.
Something like a must-have item of the lady in the white dress and the big black shades on as well as the guy with the surfer-shorts, beard and wild hair with the boom-box on the beach!
